Livingston HealthCare Hospice Passes Annual State of Montana Compliance Survey
(Livingston, MT) Livingston HealthCare (LHC) is proud to announce that its Hospice department has passed its annual state of Montana compliance survey. Conducted by the Department of Health and Human Services, the survey ensures that hospice facilities provide safe, high quality patient care that aligns with Montana regulations and standards.
During the survey, state inspectors meticulously reviewed the department’s policies, employee records, and emergency preparedness plans. They also verified that all staff members had up-to-date background checks and licenses. The department passed for the fifth year in a row with no deficiencies.
Passing the state survey is a significant achievement for LHC Hospice, but also for the community. Knowing that the Livingston HealthCare Hospice Department has met the stringent standards set by the state provides peace of mind to patients and their families. It is reassuring to know that they are receiving care of the highest level of quality, safety and compassion.
In response to the successful survey results, the department manager, Nicki Walker, RN, expressed her pride in her team’s accomplishment. She stated, “We are thrilled to have once again passed the state survey. The results are a testament to the hard work and dedication of our staff, who go above and beyond to ensure that our patients receive high quality, compassionate, end of life care.”
