Dry Needling
Dry needling is a non-invasive, minimally discomforting form of therapy that can speed up muscle recovery and healing, so you can get back on your feet.
Our trained physical therapists apply dry needles to trigger points, where muscle fibers connect and help release tension in the muscles. Our PT's will diagnose the underlying cause of the pain and will correct it, which will decrease of eliminate your symptoms. Dry needling is different than acupuncture in that dry needling is based on evaluations in posture, movement impingements, and orthopedic tests. Furthermore, dry needling utilizes the most current research in Western medicine.
Here are some common dry needle treatments:
- Headaches
- Neck pain
- Low back pain
- Surgical Rehabilitation
- Osteoarthritis
- Knee pain
- Foot and Ankle pain; Plantar Fasciitis
- Scolosis
