Livingston HealthCare is hosting four Trauma Informed Practice (TIP) trainings and one Attachment, Self-Regulation, and Competency (ARC) training.
Come see Amy Foster Wolfermann, Assistant Director at the Institute for Educational Research at the University of Montana, as she presents on a variety of topics.
TIPs:
September 4, 9-11AM, 1-3 PM
September 5, 8-10 AM, 10:30 AM-12:30 PM
The TIP presentations will cover a wide array of topics relating to trauma, including:
- Trauma defined
- Types of trauma
- Common reactions to trauma
- Traumatic stress and PTSD
ARCs:
September 4, 6-8 PM
The ARC presentation will provide an overview of the impact of trauma and fostering resiliancy through ARC. Topics discussed will include:
- The impact of trauma
- Fostering resiliancy through Attachment, Self-Regulation and Competency
- Understanding triggers
- Setting up routines and rituals

All training sessions are open to the community, as well as Livingston HealthCare employees. Every session will be held in the main-level conference rooms at Livingston HealthCare.
