Flood Water Emergency

Livingston HealthCare's phone system has been repaired and is working properly. If our main system fails again, the backup system is fully functional. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work through this flood emergency and reopen our facility.

Livingston HealthCare is responding to falling flood waters around our main campus. Crews have begun cleanup of hospital grounds to safely resume operations and reopen to the public. Floodwaters did not reach the building. The whole facility and all medical equipment have gone through a rigorous safety check before use for patient care and has passed.

LHC’s Emergency Department is open.

Beginning Wednesday, June 15 at 8AM, LHC will fully resume operations. If you have an appointment Wednesday, June 15, use your judgement if it is safe for you to travel to the appointment. Check the current road conditions and closures to plan your route to our facility. The phone system at our main campus remains limited. We ask if you have an appointment tomorrow and wish to cancel or reschedule, please call at a later date to reschedule.

We appreciate your patience and support during the past 24 hours, and we are working diligently to safely welcome you back.

LHC’s UrgentCare will resume normal business hours. The Shields Valley Clinic will be closed—as previously scheduled—until Monday, June 20.

Check the road conditions in your area before traveling. Please stay off roadways covered in water, plan ahead and take the direction of our law enforcement and rescue teams. They are here to keep us safe.

LHC’s Incident Command team will continue to closely monitor the situation and provide updates as they become available.

If you are in need of assistance, please dial 2-1-1.You will receive help from the centralized emergency assistance program set up to help.

If you are available to help, please dial 2-1-1 and identify yourself as someone willing to volunteer. Your help is greatly appreciated. Volunteering in this way will help streamline current assistance efforts and assist those in need more quickly and efficiently.

If you are in need of food assistance, the Food Resource Center in Livingston is serving Summer Lunch for kids and families out of the Community Room from11:30–12:30pm. They will then serve to anyone who needs a hot meal starting at 12:30pm.

The Food Resource Center is requesting 6-7 volunteers to help. Assistance is needed from mid-morning through afternoon until further notice. If you'd like to volunteer, please call them at 406.222.5335.
