Adam G. Lugger is Livingston HealthCare’s Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation Supervisor. He specializes in cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, respiratory therapy, and patient-centered exercise programming for individuals with heart and lung conditions. With more than 15 years of experience in acute and critical care settings, Adam brings a deep understanding of patient recovery across the full continuum of care. His passion for cardiac rehabilitation was shaped by years of caring for patients during their most critical moments and recognizing how challenging the road to recovery can be after hospitalization. He was drawn to Livingston HealthCare for its strong commitment to personalized, community-focused care, as well as the opportunity to make a meaningful impact close to home—Livingston is where he and his wife chose to raise their family.
Adam’s philosophy of care centers on safety, individualized treatment, and patient education, with an emphasis on making rehabilitation engaging and empowering. He is especially passionate about preventive and rehabilitative medicine, helping patients not only recover from illness or cardiac events, but also gain the confidence, knowledge, and tools needed for long-term heart and lung health. Adam values working alongside patients during the phase of care where progress is visible and meaningful. Outside of work, he enjoys playing music, fishing, reading, drawing, and woodworking, and treasures time spent with his family—especially watching his children learn and grow.
