The Livingston HealthCare Foundation has promoted Barbara ‘Babs’
Brandfass to the position of President, effective January 1, 2018. Brandfass
formerly served as the organization’s Major Gifts Officer.
The Livingston HealthCare Foundation is a private 501(c)3 organization
that raises the private funds needed by Livingston HealthCare to build
and sustain a range of quality and accessible healthcare services. One-hundred
percent of funds raised by the Foundation goes directly to support Livingston
HealthCare services and facilities here in Park County.
"The Foundation Board is delighted and grateful that Babs has agreed
to lead the Foundation. Babs brings to this position a wealth of professional
experience, dedication to the mission of Livingston HealthCare, and strong
ties to the local community,” said Ruth Weissman, Chair of the Livingston
HealthCare Foundation Board. “We look forward to her contributions
to the Foundation's efforts to support excellence in patient-centered
healthcare and wellness programs for everyone in our community."
Babs carries more than 20 years of management experience working in the
financial markets in New York City, primarily in sales and business development,
a majority of which have been devoted to start-up initiatives and new
products. With an MBA from Cornell University, Babs has worked with five
of the top investment banks. She served as Head of Business Development
for The Receivables Exchange, a Bain Capital start-up venture. In 2015,
Babs co-founded Incunable Productions, a book-adaptation screen development company.
“It is a distinct privilege in my career to work in Livingston HealthCare’s
state-of-the-art medical facility,” said Brandfass. “It is
a genuine honor to work among so many outstanding professionals. They
set the bar every day, and I will endeavor to meet those challenges on
behalf of the Foundation and the Park County community.”
