    Timothy J. Strigenz, MD, is a fellowship trained Interventional Pain Physician, utilizing non-surgical methods such as injections, bracing, physical therapy and neuromodulation for the treatment of acute and chronic pain disorders. He strives to tailor a customized treatment plan for his patients.

    Dr. Strigenz received his medical degree from Oregon Health Sciences University while on full scholarship from the United States Air Force. Upon graduation, he completed his internship and then spent 3 years as a United States Air Force Flight Surgeon at Macdill AFB. During that time he was twice deployed to the Middle East to support Operation Iraqi Freedom.

    Dr. Strigenz then completed his residency in Anesthesiology at the University of Wisconsin, elected by his peers and staff as chief resident during his last year of residency. He then matriculated to the University of California-Davis to complete his fellowship training in Pain Management. He is double board certified in anesthesiology and pain management by the American Board of Anesthesiology.

    Upon graduation, Dr. Strigenz re-entered active duty to serve as the Director of Pain Medicine at Eglin AFB, FL and as an assistant professor of anesthesiology at Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences before moving to Bozeman. He has been practicing anesthesiology and pain management in Bozeman for nearly a decade.

    Outside of work, Dr. Strigenz loves to spend time with his wife and 3 kids, trail running and skiing and soaking up the beauty Montana has to offer.
