In order to help reduce the number of falling-related injuries in our elderly population, our providers refer patients to the OTAGO Exercise program. The OTAGO program consists of stretching, strengthening, and balance techniques that are shown to help reduce falls by 35% in the elderly. This prevention program is also reimbursable by Medicaid.
