Amenities and Guest Services at Livingston HealthCare
Welcome to Livingston HealthCare. For the comfort and wellbeing of our
patients, we provide extended visiting hours and a number of convenient
services to make your stay more enjoyable. We hope this information will
be helpful to you as you plan your visit to our facilities.
The following pages useful information for guests and patients:
Visiting Hours
Visitors are an important part of the healing process. There are no set
visiting hours at the hospital, except as determined by condition of the
patient. Visits from persons who are ill are discouraged for the safety
of all patients. Children are welcome, but must be accompanied by an adult.

Tobacco-free Campus
We ask patients, visitors, and employees to refrain from using any tobacco
products on our property at all times. All tobacco products are harmful
to health, and our policy applies to all facilities owned or operated
by Livingston HealthCare.
Cellphones & Electronics
At Livingston HealthCare, we understand that sometimes you need to stay
connected to the outside world or you want access to entertainment while
you wait. Our facility is designed with that in mind. Cellphone usage
is limited within the hospital because phones may interfere with some
medical equipment.
Guest Wireless
Livingston HealthCare also offers free guest wireless internet access.
For more information on how to access the guest wireless network, please
ask a Registration staff member or visit a nurse station.
Food & Meals
Patient meals are provided with treatment and recovery in mind. Visitors
may purchase meals at Café Fresh, the hospital kitchen.
Café Fresh is open for staff, visitors, and the community from 7
AM to 6 PM, with hot meals served during the following times:
- Breakfast: 7 to 10:30 AM
- Lunch: 11 AM to 2:30 PM
- Dinner: 5 to 6 PM
Patient Gifts
Patient gifts are always welcome. Special considerations include flowers,
which are not allowed in intensive care; food (patients may have special
dietary restrictions); and latex balloons (not permitted because of patient
allergies).
