Childhood Immunization

The pediatric professionals at Livingston HealthCare believe that vaccines are a very important medical advance for the health of our children, but we also understand that many parents may have questions about vaccines and their children. Livingston HealthCare is not able to provide information regarding individual children and their medical conditions, but the following resources will provide background information that you can use to help you discuss this topic with your physician and make the right decisions for your children.

The 2011 Recommended Childhood and Adolescent Immunization Schedules were approved by the American Academy of Pediatrics, the Advisory Committee on Immunizations Practices of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the American Academy of Family Physicians and can be downloaded here.
