Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitors |

Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring (ABPM) provides a clinical tool for collecting multiple blood pressure (BP) measurements, to better assist your provider with diagnosis and management of high blood pressure. The monitor is worn for 24 hours on a waist belt or shoulder strap and is connected to a cuff around your upper arm. The cuff inflates automatically at set intervals, measuring your blood pressure and heart rate. Upon return of the monitor a report is generated and presented to your provider for interpretation. Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring is considered the gold standard for measuring blood pressure by experts worldwide because it provides valuable information on BP variability, overnight dipping and morning surge that in-clinic and home monitoring do not. ABPM is the best tool for ruling out white coat hypertension.
Special Instructions: Please wear a short sleeve button down shirt to your appointment and plan to wear similar clothing over the 24-hour period.
