Here are a few steps you can take to reduce your risk and help prevent Type 2 Diabetes.

  • Make healthly food choices. Eat plenty of fruits and vegetables, whole grains, include fish in your diet 2-3 times a week, eat lean meats, use fat-free diary products, cut back on snack foods and fast food, and control your portion sizes.
  • Exercise regularly. Even walking everyday can impact your health.
