Livingston Healthcare offers free prenatal classes for expecting parents. This free program is available quarterly and is offered on a Saturday from 9:00 am to approximately 2:00 pm in the training room on the lower level of the Orthopedic and Rehabilitation Institute at 601 Robin Lane.

Taught by OB nurses from Livingston Memorial Hospital, the class provides information on the birth experience and options available to expecting moms along with what to expect after giving birth. Additional guest speakers from various specialties will cover topics such as anesthesia and pediatrics, and class attendees will take a tour of the hospital. The class schedule includes:

• Labor and Delivery / Birth Plans / Hospital Tours
• Interventions during Labor / Coping with Labor
• Breastfeeding
• After Delivery / Newborn Care
