The Montana Tobacco Quit Line is a free telephone service for Montanans that provides cessation assistance for cigarette and chew tobacco users. A Quit Coach will help callers develop a personalized quit plan and explain the various types of cessation medications. Callers can receive four weeks of free nicotine replacement therapy (patches, gum, or lozenges) or discounted Chantix cessation medication with prescription, for up to three months. The Quit Line is open every day of the year except Thanksgiving and Christmas and can be reached by calling toll-free 1-800-QUIT-NOW (784-8669).
