The Imaging Department offers diagnostic testing that can provide a window into the cause of many diseases and physical ailments. At Livingston Memorial Hospital, in addition to conventional X-rays, the Imaging Department performs many diagnostic tests. These tests range from digital mammography (low-dose breast X-ray) and CT scans (Computer Tomography) to studies involving nuclear medicine, ultrasound, MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) and bone density testing. Some interventional procedures are also performed in the Imaging Department on an outpatient basis.
